Justice Beyond the Courtroom

The Dixon Firm is proud to support local students as they prepare for life after high school. We understand that pursuing higher education is a meaningful investment, and this scholarship is one way we aim to encourage and support students as they take the next step toward their future.

Through this scholarship, The Dixon Firm will award one (1) graduating high school senior in the Metro Atlanta area a $3,000 scholarship to assist with the cost of attending an accredited college, university, or trade school.

The Dixon Firm proudly sponsored the Jeff Francoeur Home Run Derby, benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This annual event brings the community together to support world-class pediatric care for families across Georgia. We’re committed to giving back and investing in organizations that make a real difference. See how we’re working to build a safer, stronger Atlanta.

We awarded a monetary scholarship to an African-American student deserving of additional support and recognition. To be considered for the scholarship candidates had to explain how their work would one day support and uplift the African-American community both in their hometown and abroad.

Over 47 million Americans face hunger every day. Our firm is committed to helping restore access to food to people in need in our communities.

The Dixon Firm donated 250 meals from Sandtown Pub on Wheels during the City of South Fulton’s Trunk-or-Treat event. (We also sweetened the pot by giving away a Nintendo Switch and MomoCon Winterfest passes via a same-day raffle.)

Additionally, our firm partners with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to provide meals to those in need. Food insecurity can happen to anyone, especially in the face of an accident that leaves you with unexpected medical bills and injuries that make it impossible for you to shop for groceries. Through the food bank, we’ve helped put food on shelves, thereby providing hunger relief.

Contacting the food bank gives you access to meals you need when you need them. By simply donating money and time, you can put a meal on the table of a neighbor and ensure they do not have to worry where their next meal, or their children’s next meals, will come from.

We are stronger together, and The Dixon Firm is committed to bringing the community together to celebrate our history and learn more from each other. For example, we rented a theater on Camp Creek Parkway and invited 297 of our neighbors to enjoy a free screening of the movie Marshall, which tells the story of America’s first black Supreme Court Justice. The theater was packed, and attendees enjoyed real discussions about racial equality and progress throughout American history.

We look forward to future events that call the community together to discuss how we can support and encourage one another and spark progress.

We were proud to host a barbershop event at Xclusive Barbershop in Powder Springs, GA, where we sponsored free haircuts in our ongoing efforts to give back to the community. Check out a video of the event on our Instagram channel.
